God put me through this for a reason.
I think I start to understand a little about why things must happen this way.
It makes me not take family bonding for granted.
I used to be thankful for a complete happy family, something I couldn't ask for more.
However God had his plans and things didn't turn out quite as expected.
It became nasty and a horrible process to begin with.
And I started to envy people with such blessings they themselves are unaware of.
But as a Catholic, I usually put myself in a lot of reflections and pensive thoughts and I came to a realisation of what the series of event led me to, the importance of a family united as one.
Many parents give their kids what they were deprived of in their childhood such as ballet classes and sorts. I am not entirely deprived of what I'm wishing for but I hope to create an environment where we put the family before career, kids to be taught how to pray, respect and fear God, and going to church together every Sunday, celebrating festive seasons and dinner every weekend together.
I can see my prayers been heard and little changes for the better. But the scars remained. I wonder what must happen before they will get over this for good.
God, look upon me with kindness and hear my prayers as I say them earnestly.
Amen.
