The channel 8 9 o'clock show, huo xia qu, with Cheng Han Wei acting as that crazy guy is freaking me out. His acting is superb.
Did i mentioned before how much i hate how channel 8's way of trying to entice people to do NKF donations via phone?
I loathe it so much that i jeer at the advertisment and at the 'winners' of condos, cars or cash. In lieu of giving away the top prize of $100,000 to the 'winner' or 'lucky person', why not giving it to the NKF charity itself? It's so not making sense.
Doing such charity work involves volunteerism, why pull greed in?
I miss channel U's adopted charity. One very good reason why, there are no presents or attractions to entice people. ok, that excludes actors or actresses putting their lives at risk just to gain some sympathy from Singaporeans to make some calls/ do some donations. Is there really a need to risk someone's life or give prizes away just to make Singaporeans make donations?
